the house I grew up in (or lived in the longest) when we lived there it was painted a different color and the yard was kept up much nicer fun to see, and reminisce
This year at G-Daddy's famous Easter egg hunt, the children were broken up into teams.
The twins were hunting easter eggs, while the others had scavenger hunts. Carter, Chasidy and Meg made up one team, while Katie and Madison made up another.
They were looking for clues, that when taped together...
revealed a map.
Lauren and Miller were the final team. They had to look up bible verses which lead them to clues...
eventually requring them to break out a compass and tape measure! Needless to say, it took them a little while.
sometimes I like to go to the boy's school early and sit in carpool line silence no distractions no nagging feelings about something else that I should be doing where I wait and read a great book
first games of the year brought breath-holding, as I watched Carter swing and miss in his first year of coach pitch and side-splitting laughter, as I watched the twins bat and run the bases (even skipping one) in their first year of instructional tee-ball and sadness, as I realized how it goes from being so much fun to being serious, and not so much fun in a matter of a couple of seasons
